Axolotl
Working on makin a friend. Landing on Axolotl was a good starting point for trying to play around in Character Art more. Researching into them more with a friend of mine we learned they are critically endangered. I knew before hand they were endangered but it was shocking to see they basically are only located in a single are in Mexico City. With only having around 18k of them left.
With seeing more and more of them in art and brought to the public it's good to see they are being loved - hopefully it can lead to assisting them more.
Final product for the month, color based off a Firefly Axolotl.
Game Res Version of the Axolotl, some model adjustments. Looking into fixing some of the weird areas.

After finding a lot of reference I worked on breaking down the body shapes and trying to plane my sculpt.
